500+ Free and Downloadable Consulting Presentations (2026)

This page is a library of 500+ real consulting presentations from McKinsey, BCG, Bain, the Big 4, and a dozen other firms. Every deck is publicly available, we’ve collected and organized them for convenience.

Studying real decks is the fastest way to learn consulting-style slide writing. As you browse, read the slide titles first; action titles are the clearest signature of the craft. For a full walkthrough of building a deck yourself, see our guide to building a strategy presentation.

Start here: 10 decks worth studying first

Most public consulting decks are research studies. Real client engagement decks are much rarer and much more instructive. These ten are the pick of the library:

  1. BCG – Loose Dogs in Dallas (2016). A complete BCG engagement for the City of Dallas, from problem definition to recommendations. Possibly the best public example of a real consulting deck.
  2. McKinsey – USPS Future Business Model (2010). A restructuring options deck for the US Postal Service. Watch how each option gets a fact base before the recommendation lands.
  3. Bain – UC Berkeley Operational Excellence (2010). A full cost diagnostic. The waterfall and benchmark charts are textbook Bain.
  4. McKinsey – Lebanon Economic Vision (2018). A national economic strategy in over a thousand slides. Skim the executive summary section for the storyline technique.
  5. BCG – Reshaping NYCHA support functions (2012). Key findings and recommendations for New York City’s housing authority. Strong example of structuring bad news for a public client.
  6. Bain – Con Edison Business Cost Optimization (2019). A cost program deck disclosed through a New York regulator. Real savings targets, real workstreams.
  7. McKinsey – Covid-19 Briefing Materials (2020). The briefing pack McKinsey updated through 2020. A study in communicating uncertainty with charts.
  8. Strategy& – GECOL restructuring options study (2017). A World Bank funded engagement for Libya’s power utility. Client deliverables like this almost never become public.
  9. Oliver Wyman – European Patent Office Financial Study (2019). A financial sustainability study for a public institution, disclosed in full.
  10. BCG – Melbourne as a Global Cultural Destination (2017). City strategy work with a clear situation, complication, resolution arc across the deck.

How to read these decks

Don’t just scroll. Pick one deck and read the slide titles in order, they should form a complete argument on their own (this is the Pyramid Principle at work). Then study how the executive summary compresses the whole deck into one slide, and how each body slide earns its place with a single insight. Our strategy presentation guide walks through the full method.

McKinsey & Company presentations

McKinsey decks are the reference point for the whole industry. Expect dense exec summaries, rigorous action titles, and charts that carry the argument. We also maintain a dedicated page of real McKinsey presentations and templates with commentary on each deck.

Boston Consulting Group presentations

BCG decks tend to be more visual than McKinsey’s, with heavier use of frameworks and matrix layouts. The public-sector engagement decks below (Dallas, NYCHA, Port of LA) show real client work end-to-end. See also our dedicated page of BCG presentations.

Bain & Company presentations

Bain decks are known for their answer-first structure and tight storylines. The university cost diagnostics below are rare examples of full internal engagement decks made public.

Deloitte presentations

These are Deloitte’s consulting and Monitor Deloitte decks. We deliberately exclude tax, audit, and risk material, this library is about strategy and operations work.

PwC & Strategy& presentations

Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) carries the strategy pedigree inside the PwC network. The GECOL engagement decks below, disclosed through the World Bank, are genuine client deliverables.

EY & EY-Parthenon presentations

EY-Parthenon is EY’s strategy arm. The decks below skew toward market studies and sector barometers presented in slide form.

KPMG presentations

KPMG’s advisory practice publishes fewer public decks than the other Big 4 firms, so this section is smaller. We only include strategy and advisory material, never audit or tax.

Accenture presentations

Accenture Strategy decks sit closer to technology and operating-model work than classic corporate strategy. Their SlideShare archive is one of the largest of any firm.

Kearney presentations

Kearney (formerly A.T. Kearney) publishes strong industry studies, and its Global Services Location Index and FDI Confidence Index are long-running series worth studying for chart craft.

Oliver Wyman presentations

Oliver Wyman decks concentrate in financial services and insurance. The SOA meeting decks below show real actuarial consulting work.

Roland Berger presentations

Roland Berger’s Trend Compendium series is a masterclass in packaging macro research as slides. European engagement decks occasionally surface through EU institutions.

L.E.K. Consulting presentations

L.E.K. decks lean toward commercial due diligence style work: market sizing, surveys, and sector studies.

Simon-Kucher presentations

Simon-Kucher is the pricing specialist among the big consultancies, and its global pricing studies are presented as slide decks.

Arthur D. Little presentations

Arthur D. Little is the oldest consulting firm in the world. Its viewpoint decks cover mobility, telecoms, and innovation strategy.

Booz Allen Hamilton presentations

Booz Allen works mostly with the US government, so its public decks come from federal briefings and investor materials.

Alvarez & Marsal presentations

A&M is the restructuring and turnaround specialist. Public slide material is rare; this section will grow as we verify more.

Frequently asked questions

What is a consulting presentation?

Organizations bring in management consultants when they’re grappling with a difficult problem that they aren’t sure how to solve. At the end of the engagement, the Partner or Project Leader gives the client a consulting presentation that summarizes the analysis and recommendations. It’s the primary deliverable of most consulting projects.

How do you present a consulting presentation?

In most cases the deck isn’t “presented” as such. The Partner talks through a few key slides in the final meeting, and the full deck serves as a reference document the client keeps after the team has finished the engagement. That’s why consulting decks are written to be read, every slide has to stand on its own.

How do you write a consulting presentation?

There are two parts: the thinking (problem definition, analysis, synthesis) and the presentation (structure, storyline, slide craft). You do the thinking before you open PowerPoint. Our strategy presentation guide covers the full process, and the Slide Science System is our complete end-to-end course.

Are these decks really free?

Yes. Every deck here is publicly available, published by the firms themselves or disclosed through governments, regulators, and public institutions. We link to the original sources (or archived copies where the original moved).

Can I reuse these slides in my own work?

Study them, imitate the techniques, but don’t copy slides directly. The content belongs to the firms and their clients. Use them the way an art student uses a museum.
